Our courses are professionally delivered, have a flexible approach and provide employment pathways into outdoor education, adventure guiding and tourism, adventure activity instruction, corporate outdoor training and outdoor adventure therapies. Industry Partnerships The Outdoor Recreation courses at Swinburne are delivered by industry and in partnership with the Outdoor Education Group, based in Eildon, North East Victoria and Halls Outdoor Education, based in Gembrook.
Outdoor Recreation courses
Course Delivery Training is delivered in two to fourteen day blocks at venues throughout Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Methods of delivery include structured outdoor training, classroom delivery, vocational placements (work experience), skills enhancement project, group projects and self-paced assignments.
