AdventurePro Video Festival presented by the Australian Camps Association

AdventurePro Video Festival presented by the Australian Camps Association

The inaugural AdventurePro Video Festival 2014 presented by the Australian Camps Association was a 'fantastic' success and was highly appreciated by the broad range of people who attended the screenings!

"We had overwhelmingly positive feedback from the audience and the event's future is secure," said Colin Kneebone, AdventurePro's Client Services Manager.

"All videos looked and sounded absolutely brilliant on the Mansfield Armchair Cinema's big screens. It's a technically awesome, but very relaxed and intimate, venue that will continue to be the 'home' of the festival."

Due to the success of the Mansfield screenings, The AdventurePro Video Festival 2014 is now in negotiations for screenings to be held at a variety of other events and private functions around the country.

None, however, will compare with the quality experienced at the Mansfield Armchair Cinema's twin digital theatres.

A DVD will follow approximately mid-year and the 2014 festival will be available on Vimeo before the 2015 event.

Video Making Resources

Vimeo accepts most major video codecs, but for best results we recommend using H.264. Most popular file formats are supported; e.g. .mp4 (preferred!), .mov, .wmv, .avi etc. See Vimeo's Video Compression Guidelines for more info.

You can learn how to make better videos through lessons, tutorials, and sage advice from Vimeo, via the Vimeo Video School at https://vimeo.com/videoschool

There is also a comprehensive range of video making resources available through YouTube's "Create Better Content" program at www.youtube.com/yt/creators/create-better-content.html

Royalty Free Music and Sound Effects...

If you are looking for royalty free music and / or sound effects to use in your production, you should check the following websites out first...

Please make sure you adhere to the terms and conditions of use when downloading and using music or sounds from the above websites --- some are available free, some under a Creative Commons License (also free but with specific crediting requirements) and some require payment!

Plus, you will also find a large number of other websites offering royalty free music for download (with varying terms and conditions) by searching Google (or other search engines) for "royalty free music download" or similar terms.

You may also be able to find up-and-coming bands or musicians who are willing to allow their music to be used if you mention them in the credits, again, by searching online or contacting them directly and asking for permission!

We strongly encourage you to credit the creator / owner / composer / musician in your videos' credits as per the requirements of Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) as a minimum --- e.g 'Music Title' Copyright © 'Creator' [used under Creative Commons License 'version' --- if available and appropriate].

Note that some music and sounds are available under a different Creative Commons License version, in which case the requirements of that version should be met.
