We are a close-knit team seeking individuals that are passionate about educating and empowering young people in the outdoors. We endeavour to provide a stimulating environment for our team members while supporting their growth and development as outdoor leaders.
We have a variety of Group leader, Canoe Instructor, Roping instructor and Mountain Bike instructor roles available.
Applicants should display;

- A desire to teach the importance of our natural environment and how to minimise our impact
- A confidence to operate in wilderness environments

- An effective communicator with team members, teachers and students
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
- Current driver’s license or the ability to obtain one
- A certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent, Cert 3 will be acceptable for some roles
- A Wilderness First Aid qualification or equivalent
- As part of our commitment to child safety applicants require a Paid NSW WWCC and National Police check
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
The Details:
- Payment as per the miscellaneous Award starting from:
- Southbound Level 1 (Award Level 3) – Day Rate for Field Day: 12 hrs + 1.5hr unpaid breaks - $405.84 per day midweek
- Level 2 & 3 Rates applicable for additional experience and qualifications
- Level 2 - $428.16/Day
- Level 3 - $442.82 /Day

- Fully stocked Wilderness First Aid Kit.
- All meals whilst on program.
- Briefing days with meals provided.Stoves, Fuel, cooking/cleaning equipment and a Sanitiser/COVID Kit is supplied to each instructor.
- Staff have the option of getting a lift to program from our office in Albion Park or meet us at the program location. This does NOT come with expectations of working before or after program outside of work hours.
