As we expand our offerings, we're seeking Senior Instructors with specializations in Canoeing, Mountain Biking (MTB), and Roping/Rigging. This vital role involves leading outdoor activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment, and developing training programs to enhance our team's skills.
Who We Are looking For:
- Experienced and Qualified: You hold a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership or higher, with at least 3 years in expedition guiding or facilitation. Additional training and assessment qualifications are a plus.
- Skilled Specialist: Whether your expertise lies in Canoeing, MTB, or Roping/Rigging, you are proficient in your field and eager to share your knowledge.
- Safety First: Current certifications in Wilderness/Remote First Aid and CPR are essential, along with a NSW Working with Children’s Check and a manual driver’s license.
- Innovative Educator: Are you excited about designing unforgettable experiences for our participants? We're looking for creative minds who can develop engaging training plans that not only meet but exceed safety and skill standards. Your ideas and passion for education are what make our adventures truly memorable.
Your Impact:
- Lead with Excellence: Deliver safe, educational, and enjoyable activity sessions tailored to your specialization, ensuring memorable experiences for all participants.
- Inspire and Educate: Play a pivotal role in developing our staff's abilities, enhancing their skills through comprehensive training sessions.
- Maintain and Innovate: Oversee equipment maintenance, ensuring all gear is in top condition, and introduce new techniques and safety measures.
- Emergency Preparedness: Equip both staff and clients with the necessary rescue skills, fostering a culture of safety and preparedness.
Salary package;
- Salary: Starting at $65,208 – $70,148 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience, ensuring you are rewarded for your expertise and contribution. With ongoing reviews and room for progression for the right candidate.
- Annual Leave: Standard 4 weeks of annual leave, sick leave, carers leave and other allowances and leave entitlements under the Miscellaneous Award.
- Appreciation leave: Access to an additional 2 weeks of annual leave, giving you ample time to relax, pursue personal interests, and spend time with loved ones.
- Superannuation: 11% super paid in addition to your salary.
