Colo Outdoor Education Centre

Full-time, ongoing position - commencing Term 3, 2021 or by mutual agreement

The College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, and suitably qualified Outdoor Education teacher to live and work at the College’s Colo Outdoor Education Centre. This well-established centre is situated on 30 hectares bounded by the Colo River and the Wollemi National Park, with extensive facilities and equipment. The Colo campus is the base for the College’s sequential Outdoor Education program for Years 7-9 and offers multiple program activities including adventure ropes course, bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking, expeditions, group problem solving initiatives, camping and expedition skills, rock climbing and orienteering.

The successful applicant will have strong skills and proven teaching experience in several of the program activity areas; be committed to the value of Outdoor Education; pastoral care; curriculum development and have the personal attributes to teach in a close-knit professional team.
