Group Leaders

Halls Outdoor Education is based in Gembrook and operates journey based programs throughout Victoria and hard-top programs at our three venues.

Our field staff have variety in their work - participating in both types of programs where they perform a variety of roles - group leading and as activity instructors.  Our programs are run in areas such as The High Plains, Grampians, Wilson's Prom, Thomson, Mitchell, Snowy, Murray Rivers, and Bunyip State Park.  Activities include bushwalking, kayak, canoe, sea kayak, sailing, S.U.P, rafting, caving, climbing, mountain bike, surfing, snorkelling and skiing.  

We are seeking outdoor professionals who are passionate about the outdoors and keen to work in a team environment with young people to create a connected, resilient and sustainable future. 

We require a minimum of a Certificate 4 in Outdoor Recreation with units in navigation and bushwalking, remote area first aid, working with children check and a driver's licence - manual preferred. Highly desirable would be a qualification or units in another 1 - 2 activity areas and a bus licence. 

Remuneration and conditions in line with our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
