Time: 2 minutes
Level: During / after heavy rain
Character: Play waves & Weir holes
If you're lucky enough to be a paddler that has beached themselves in Toowoomba, you need not look any further than the centre of town. Complete with shoppers and tourists walking past.
Whilst probably not worth your while under normal circumstances, depending how long you have actually been in Toowoomba you may be getting rather desperate to sit in a boat.
What it lacks in eddy service, it makes up for with a conveniently flooded 'park & walk' footpath.
Depending on level various features may come in. There is a series of artificial drops / weirs that may either form nasty weir holes, or fairly average waves.
Note: Watch out for police.
Putting In: Behind the Toowoomba City Library
Taking Out: Same place, Margaret Street or Russel Street
Entry Date: January 27, 2013
