Character: A beautiful and remote alpine creek, with almost continuous boulder gardens and the odd bedrock rapid. From the very start this river is an almost continuous boulder garden with the odd grade IV rapid requiring bank scouting. At the halfway mark the river eases up a bit and the first short pool is encountered, after a couple of short gorges the river turns south and becomes an easy grade 2+ run home.
