The AdventurePro Video Film Festival 2016 presented by the Australian Camps Association is coming soon and we want to share the best adventure based short films featuring Australian &/or New Zealand Outdoor Adventure --- or, Aussies and Kiwis adventuring overseas!
AdventurePro’s Project Manager, Tony Barnett, says "this year's entries are the best yet."
"I didn't think the quality of the 2015 screenings could be matched, let alone topped, but we have a great range of short films lined up that I believe make for an even better show than last year."
"The 2016 festival has entries that showcase a variety of diverse outdoor pursuits like sea kayaking, surfing, stand up paddling, white water kayaking, canyoning / canyoneering, mountaineering, rock climbing, highlining / slacklining, mountain biking, snorkelling, skiing, fishing, packrafting and more."
"In the tradition of previous years, the 2016 festival will again highlight the incredible passion and spirit people have for the outdoors and outdoor activities through touching narratives, amazing journeys, outdoor education stories and some stunning visuals," continues Mr Barnett.
"We believe we have best line-up of locally made adventure based short films ever screened and we want you to see them at their best, so the premiere screening will be in full digital cinema splendour at the Mansfield Armchair Cinemas in Mansfield, Victoria where the winning films and prizes are revealed."
"It's a very relaxed and intimate venue in one of the best adventure destinations in Victoria, so why not bring the family along and make a weekend of it."
"Adventure lovers have been demanding an Australian short adventure film festival for years --- our film-makers have delivered, now it's up to you to ensure the event's success for 2016 and into the future by coming along to a screening," concludes Mr Barnett.
The AdventurePro Video Film Festival will include two screenings on the Saturday afternoon (4pm) and Sunday morning (11am) on April 30th and May 1st, 2016 at the Mansfield Armchair Cinemas (MAC) in Mansfield, Victoria, Australia.
